That’s cool! I’d love to go Vancoufur someday, but I’m not Canadian, and Europe is quite far from Western Canada, so in a single year I can only go once!

Oh nice! Shame you couldn’t have made it last year when we had a kaiju theme, though. There’s also no official macro/micro meet this year unfortunately, but I’ve been thinking about hosting one myself anyways off in some random corner (potentially with prop buildings and such too, but we’ll see how I feel about that)
Yeah, I almost went, but I ended up going to GSFC in LA instead, because I was high off wanting to go back to the US again after having been to MFF, my first ever con in North America, the year prior, and had someone to meet with there. But I’m really excited to go to Canada finally! I’ve also been a viewer of both guests of honour for FE this year, on and off, which is not something I can usually say for a con, so that’s cool.
Ah, gotcha. I was at MFF 2024 and had a great time since it was my first big con, but I haven’t been to the US for anything since then, and I probably won’t be going back again until we’ll after things have calmed down over there (if ever >v>)
Hope you have a good time at FE though! Just beware of the elevator lines if you’re staying at the main hotel. They can be brutal, especially if your room is on one of the higher floors (ask me how I know)
I can’t afford to be staying at the main hotel xD! But yeah, same, I’m American-Irish and I won’t be going back to the US until a certain ideology isn’t in power. I was ashamed I even went for GSFC in the end tbh. My punishment was missing out on the kaijus in Canada!
Well as the resident kaiju regardless of whatever the con’s theme may be, I shouldn’t be too difficult to spot X>
I’m also not staying at the main hotel this year, and quite honestly, I wouldn’t advise staying there anyways. I’m so glad that we’re changing venues next year

I’ll be going!! I went last year and had an absolute whale of a time, so I’m very much looking forward to it. Going with a huge group too, so that’ll be fun!
