Art management application?

I’ve been looking for a software that is easy to use and would help me manage my arts of all kinds, whether it’s my own or just stuff I grab online because they are hawt.

  • I found https://docs.tagstud.io/ a while ago and while it could be the thing I’m searching for, many feature are missing and right now it feels too… too patched up if that make any sense. Maybe when it’s finished it will be perfectly what I’m looking for but for now it’s not up to task.
  • Adobe Stuff… Adobe.
  • Currently, I’ve settled on https://en.eagle.cool/. It works pretty good but still has some feature that I’m missing. Specifically related to tags. I’d like tag implication and tags aliases. Tag implication is, for example, I tag something with “Eagle”. Eagle is a bird so I’d tag “Bird” too. Bird is an avian so I’d tag “Avian” too. Tag implication is basically I tag Eagle and it automatically implies Bird, which itself implies Avian and thus all are tagged automatically when putting “Eagle”. Tag aliases is for example tagging something “Girl” would assume “Female”. “Girl” ↔ “Female” would means the same thing.

So does any of you have any software to recommend that would be up for the task? Share it here for me and for others please! Thanks!

I’ve been meaning to try Hydrus and feel like something like this would become incredibly useful, especially if more of the Internet becomes gated behind logins and age verification.

But indeed, I have A TON of completely unorganised art, but it does help to have addons for sites like e621 that include tags like artist, character, etc. in file name.

Oh right I’ve heard of Hydrus a long term ago but I ended up not wanting it. Can’t remember why tho.
