Aerri leaned against the back of the cage. “Sooo what’s the plan now then? going to keep me locked away in here while you run more tests on me?” She asked the scientist curiously. The dragoness shook her head and walked to the side a little as she pulled out something that looked like a walkie talkie, though it just had a single button on it instead. “Oh no, we’ve learned everything we need to from the two of you this time, I believe our latest project is ready for testing.” She pressed the button and the front of the building rumbled then began to open its giant doors. Sunlight began to creak through the gaps, shining brighter as more light passed through the growing opening of the doorway.
Aerri squinted for a moment as the rays of light hit her eyes, but she quickly adjusted. As the doors parted she saw out into the military base, it looked mostly like an airport with its large and long stretch of flat ground just beyond the building. “Am I free to go then..?” She asked hopeful, but the scientist just laughed. “oh of course not. We’re done testing on you, but that doesn’t mean we can’t use you to test our latest project. With these new cases of Macro appearing we were not prepared to say the least. we’ve adapted, and so far it has worked out yet we know sometimes our methods will not be sufficient. So, why not make our own Macro?” She said with a smile, proud of her own work it seemed. As she spoke, a large cage was wheeled up with a truck, unhooked and laid out in front of Aerri’s Cage. This one was much smaller, Aerri could nearly smush the whole cage under a paw. Despite the unimpressive size compared to her, it was what was in the cage that mattered.
The scientist had meanwhile taken a quick elevator lift down. She walked up to the cage and tapped on its bars. A large 9 foot tall sabertooth- looking beast lay inside, a strange collared device around his neck. “This little creature of ours has been outfitted with some growth abilities, including the power to absorb from other Macro. Thanks to the two of you, he is now ready for field testing. With him, macro threats should be quite easy to.. stomp out.” she smirked a little with a short laugh at her own joke.
Aerri didn’t like what she just heard. A creature built to absorb size? She wasn’t even sure if they’d be able to handle something like that. Though she really didn’t want to stick around and let them find out.
Aerri huffed and sat up, moving onto her knees and placing her hands on the front of the cage. “As nice as the talk has been, I think it’s best I be on my way now..!” She pushed and the Cage began to creak, then burst open, unable to hold her immense strength. The cage door fell forward, smashing down on the sabertooth’s cage and loudly crashing on the ground. The scientist quickly ducked behind the smaller cage for safety while Aerri pulled herself out of the big cage, bending down as the roof of the building wasn’t quite a hundred feet tall like she was- then stepped out of the building, finally standing upright again. The scientist coughed then growled and brushed some dust off herself. “Get her..!” She ordered the beast, pressing a button on another remote. Fang jumped to action. His own cage had been broken enough from the falling metal that he was easily able to squeeze out.
