CYOA, Aerri

Alrighty folks, it’s finally time. I am starting the choose your own adventure for Aerri. Got a little side tracked on this and took longer to upload than i though it would, but here we are. This is going to be a non-canon story of Aerri in her earlier years. So feel free to have fun with it. It is not canon to any character that appears anyway.

This is just the initial post letting you know it is happening soon. I will write out the beginning of the story either today or tomorrow unless something gets in my way.

As a reminder: this is who the CYOA will be following:

The story begins…

Aerri stepped out of a portal onto a new planet. Her parents had discussed with her the importance of something or rather- she wasn’t entirely paying attention to what they were saying. Getting to know what a mortal world was like is all she really got in the end. So here she was, the portal closing behind her, leaving her stranded on this planet for the time being. Her parents leaving her to fend for herself. It was just a regular old mortal world, right? what’s the worst that could happen? The young 11-foot-tall Deity looked around and wondered two things.. Should she explore the world in her Nardoragon form, or her Kitsune form.. And more importantly, where should she go first..? She could always transport herself through time if she wanted to visit some older eras, like a castle or a lost civilization. Or she could keep it simple, explore some modern areas, like a beach, a city, or a quiet town..

What Species should Aerri explore the world as?

Aerri decided she should go visit the big city and see what goes on around here. The tall black and green Kitsune walked into town with a smile on her face. If she was going to be stuck here, she might ad well enjoy it.. maaaybe even show off a little. The sun shines high in the sky midday as she walks through the streets on the sidewalk. There was certainly a lot to take in. Giant buildings looming over her, and many noises. Aerri wasn’t entirely sure what to do here, but she did get plenty of looks by the citizens. Many of the furs pointed at the tall kitsune, amazed by her height. Aerri already realizing that they were not used to larger folk.

She paused at a little booth and ducked down to look at the little map displayed within. The tall girl saw several points of interest for travelers and tourists on it. This would be a great help in figuring out what she should do first! There were several options across the city. From locations to sightsee, events to visit, or places to eat.

What should she do in the city first?
  • Go to the Park
  • Visit a Restaurant
  • Go to a theater to watch today’s performance
  • Visit a Carnival
  • Or travel the city and sight-see.

Aerri took a minute to read through the map and flyers in the booth to decide what she should check out first. It looked like there was some kind of show going on in a theater? That sounded like fun. The tall Kitsune stood back up to her full 11 foot height. It was a bit of a ways to get there, but getting in a taxi would be certainly a little too uncomfortable with her current height. So off she went, walking to the theater across town.

Along the way she got plenty more looks from people, surprised by her tall stature as she strolled through town. But eventually she arrived at the theater. She bent over and smiled down at the person sitting in the booth selling tickets. “One ticket please!” The tall girl asked with a big toothy smile. The nervous worker nodded and slowly pushed out a ticket for her. “Thanks!” She added, then headed inside. She ducked through the doorway, and then ducked again to go into the theater room, deciding to sit in the back row. Partly to not block others views, but also because it had a lot of leg room for her paws to stretch out. She waited a few more minutes as more people piled in, and then the doors finally closed and the stage lit up- and a magic show began! She leaned forward and watched as the fox magician began to perform simple tricks, such as levitating a card or pulling a rabbit out of a hat. To a goddess, many of these tricks would not be very impressive. But given she was aware of these mortals lack of powers, it seemed more impressive anyway.

As the show continued, the magician finally stepped forward and asked “can i get a volunteer from the audience!” Aerri thought about it. Should she volunteer and join the magic show? She might ruin some of the tricks or even steal the show a bit.. or maybe it’ll be a lot of fun.

In my eyes, you can never go wrong volunteering for magic shows without knowledge.

what could POSSIBLY go wrong with a magic show you don’t know? its perfectly safe!

Aerri sat in the back row farthest from the stage as the fox magician called for a volunteer. She thought about it for a moment then raised up her long arm into the air, waving it. The magician saw one or two volunteers but did not feel like calling on those ones.. and then he saw a hand in the back. He pointed to the back. “You there! Come- join the great Kari on stage to assist with his next trick.” He called out. Aerri grinned her toothy smile, and began heading down. As she got to the stage he commented- “oh my, aren’t you a tall one.. what is your name my sweet Kitsune helper..?” The fox asked as Aerri climbed up onto stage, towering over even the 6 foot tall fox by nearly double his height.

“I’m Aerri, just your super tall- Super cool kitsune” she blepped at the audience then grinned down at the Fox. “Well Aerri, i think i have JUST the trick to do with you.” The Fox magician swung his cape around and raised his wand-

What trick should he perform on Aerri?
  • Disappearing trick
  • Hypnosis
  • Make the Kitsune shrink
  • Saw in half
  • A vague “alter her appearance..”
  • Mystery option (40% good or 60% bad)

Hint: there is a possibility for growth to start on this post, you just have to vote for the right one >:3

The magician held his wand in the air for a solid second or two, then flicked it to the ground and poof..! The stage burst with powder, covering the view. As the smokey powder began to clear, there were two chairs inside large boxes. “Now Aerri if you will have a seat on the box. It might be a little tight but I’m sure you will manage.” The magician said with a grin. The Fox lead her over to the first chair and she squeezed in and smiled at the audience. Kari stepped over to the next box, sat in it and tapped it with his wand, and the doors to both boxes swung shut. Aerri curled inside, squeezing in the tight fit as the fox’s voice projected through the microphone out on stage. “Now.. prepare yourselves for my newest trick! Never before seen!” Some drum roll effects began to play from the speakers. Aerri wondered what he was going to do, thinking that perhaps the doors would open and they’d have swapped places? She was curious to find out! But to her shock, something much worse happened. It began to feel.. less cramped in the box.. she was.. shrinking..!? How could this be? Aerri perked up in surprise as she became half the size she normally was. From a towering 11 foot Kitsune to an average little 5 foot 6 inches. And when the doors swung open, Kari stepped out, a hulking 11 foot tall like she used to be. “TA-DA!” he claimed to the audience who began clapping. The fox had tricked and drained size from her! She growled angrily, but told herself to calm down. She couldn’t cause a scene in front of these innocent people after all. The fox smirked back at her as he bowed. “Thank you, thank you” he said to the audience before turning to Aerri for a moment. “And you- my little darling, can go back to your seat.” He said with a toothy grin, leaning over her.. she felt awkward having to look up at someone, and annoyed that he managed to do such a thing to her. For a moment, Aerri thought about fighting back. Showing him who’s boss. But that could be dangerous for the audience..

What should Aerri do?
  • Go back to her seat
  • Show Kari “a REAL magic trick”
  • Confront him after the show
  • Storm out of the room angrily.

Aerri wasn’t about to just let this magician get away with stealing her size. The Kitsune refused to step back to her seat and let him get away with such a thing. Instead, she replied back to him. “Actually, i’m NOT going to go back to my seat.. Instead, i have a magic trick for you.” The Kitsune smirked at the magician. Kari looked down at her with a scoff. “As fun as more magic would be, this is my show. Please take your seat before i call security.” The fox whispered to Aerri, not wanting to ruin his performance. He seemed unamused by her offer to do her own trick. But little did he know, it was not an offer. The kitsune’s tails fluffed out, her claws glowed a soft green. Aerri began to slowly stretch her body to a larger size, regaining the size she had previously lost. Kari stepped back in shock while the crowd ooh’d and awe’d as the kitsune grew back to her normal 11-foot height, as if this was all part of the show. She smirked at the magician and asked, “thought you could get away with stealing my height huh tough guy~?” The two now equal in height eyed one another.

what will happen next?
  • Aerri grows further, at the risk of the audience
  • Kari fights back
  • The two go “talk it out” backstage
  • mystery event occurs

(instead of flipping a coin between the two winners, i am going to combine the two on this one!)

Aerri’s tongue flickered like a snake at the magician, her claws still softly glowed. The Kitsune had a hard time not growing further whenever she got started, and this was no exception. The 11 foot tall Kitsune girl began to grow even further. 12 foot tall, 15 feet tall, 20. Her head rose very high to the top of the stage curtains, her paws made the stage creak under her weight. The audience gasped in awe as she grew from tall to a towering giant. Aerri huffed and moaned softly as she swelled one last time to a towering 30 foot Kitsune. Her tails fluffed out and covered the stage. Her leg lifted, paw dangling over Kari’s head. The fox yelped and lifted his arms and caught the paw, holding it up above himself as Aerri giggled about it. “grrph.. F-fine.. you want to ruin my show? I’ll show you.” He uttered in annoyance. The Fox was not going to let Aerri humiliate him on his own show like this. Magic began to swirl around the fox, and he grunted and growled as his body enlarged bigger and bigger.. His own 11 foot size, rising up toward 20 feet- he threw her paw off him, and sent the kitsune off balance and falling onto her behind- smashing into the stage. Her paws dangled off the stage, smushing someone in the first row for a brief moment before she sat up. The audience member gasped for air after the sudden smushing, while the kitsune slowed his growth to a stop at a staggering 25 feet tall, both giants filling out all the space on the stage. He smirked at the slightly taller Kitsune sitting in front of him “I don’t know how you can grow like that, but please, keep growing~ you’ll just give me more to absorb.” He smirked.

What’s next?
  • Aerri furiously grows, ignoring the audiences safety.
  • De-escalate the situation to protect the audience
  • Kari absorbs more from Aerri
  • Try to exit the building before continuing.

Aerri huffed out her irritation with the fox, as her body begins to rumble. “Yeah? try absorbing this..!” She exclaimed, as her claws glowed brighter, their light warming the room. Her size began to increase again, passing 30 feet and heading up toward 40, then 50. She blushed, swelling bigger than the stage as her paws pushed into the audience. The building shook like a small earthquake, her head pushed into the top of the stage, knocking down some equipment. By now, the audience realized this was not exactly part of the show anymore and began screaming and running as they wished to not be squished by the growing giants. A few moments later, Her head smashed through the ceiling of the building, her paws pushed through the wall and rested out in the streets. A car honked and swerved, gently crashing into the sidewalk as they tried to avoid the sudden wall of Kitsune leg and paw. The now 100-foot tall Aerri chuckled and picked up Kari like a little doll, dangling him by a single hand. “Aren’t you just a cute little fox now~” She poked at the magician, who angrily swiped at her finger, growling at her to let him down.

Aerri stopped poking at him for a moment to clear out some of the remaining building still locking her down, leaving it all as rubble around her. Then she leaned forward and dropped Kari on the street next to the buildings across from the broken theatre. But before he could move, She pressed a paw against him, smushing him down against the wall of the next building. “There you go, i put you down! is that what you wanted?” She smiled with a toothy grin as she laughed.

What is to come?
  • Kari gives up and aplogizes
  • Aerri gets a little carried away and grows more
  • Mystery Event..! (50% good, 50% bad!)
  • Kari Absorbs way more from Aerri
  • ignore Kari, rampage like a kaiju around the city for fun

Aerri confidently laughed overhead as she sat in the rubble of the theater. Panicking people ran along the sidewalks away from the scene as she kept the fox pinned against a wall and her paw. The 20 foot magician grunted and groaned as he uselessly pushed against her toes to try and free himself to no success. So then he tried a different approach. He quit trying to outpower her directly. His hand reached up and grasped one of her glowing claws. He moaned and began to tingle with growth once again. His muscles tensed, his body shivered, his tail curled around him. The Fox enlarged to 30 feet, to 40.. 50.. half Aerri’s own size. The paw that once held him down now easily tossed aside as he stretched out to an astonishing 70 feet. He stood up with a gasp. “Ugh.. i have never felt.. so powerful before..!” He exclaimed, feeling the new power he had obtained. Aerri realized her mistake now, by growing more she’d only let him grow more as well..

“Not such a little fox now am i?” He scoffed at her, resting an arm on the top of a building. It cracked under his weight slightly, while his paws cracked the pavement below. Aerri grunted and stood up as well, both of them now towering in the street. “Apparently not.. but you’re still no match for me.” She shook her head. "Absorb all you want! But I’ll always be the bigger one " she boasted.

And then…
  • Kari takes her challenge, continues to absorb
  • Kari suggests they enjoy it together not fight
  • Aerri shows off by growing even more
  • ??? (Unknown result, potentially very growy.)

Aerri and Kari stood in the street facing each other. Would they fight, would they make peace? nobody knew. Most people ran, some stopped to take pictures. The police sirens wailed, their sounds grew near as they arrived on scene and helped escort people away from the situation. Even a helicopter came flying by, making sure not to get too close to the giants yet. Kari turned away from Aerri and looked at the little police cars, snickering at them, amused by the cute little vehicles. Aerri was about to say something when a bright flash hit her eyes. She flinched and looked at the helicopter. It was flashing a light at her, distracting the giant kitsune for some reason. It was being rather annoying so she stepped over a building and reached out trying to swat at it to get it to back off.

As Aerri continued following the helicopter it also began to blare loud sounds at her. The kitsune’s ears bent in annoyance to the loud sounds. She finally reached out enough to grab the flying machine, scrunching it in her hand as she heard a crashing thud behind her. She held the damaged helicopter in her hand as she looked back and saw Kari had collapsed to the ground, and smushed a chunk of building underneath him as well. But then she felt a bunch of tiny stings in her leg and back. “ow- hey!” She looked down, stepping around the street wondering what was happening, but her vision was getting hazy, and soon she passed out just like Kari did, falling down along the street with a big crash, her hand releasing the broken helicopter out in front of her.

By the time she started to regain consciousness, she didn’t know where she was. Her tired vision saw some small people around the area, a large open room, and.. was she in a giant cage? She shook her drowsiness off and tried to wake herself up some more. Sure enough, she was sitting in some sort of big cage. She thought of simply leaving right away. A simple Cage couldn’t contain a Goddess. But a voice interrupted her thoughts. “Finally awake again i see.” Aerri glanced to the side. There was a scientist looking person. A little pink scaled dragon lady stood just beyond the cage on a catwalk. “You caused quite the scene in the town the other day. Thankfully this wasn’t the first time this kind of thing has happened, we were quite prepared for it this time.”

Aerri yawned then chuckled a little. “If you think i am just another little macro you’d be in for a surprise” She replied, sitting up a little straighter. The scientist shrugged. “After running some tests on you I am quite confident I am not underestimating you dear. You really are quite fascinating.” Aerri smiled briefly at the compliment, then paused and asked “hey.. so- where’s that magician fellow?” The dragoness shook her head. “oh, he shrunk down after a while. with nothing to absorb he simply couldn’t sustain such a size. Saved us a lot of work to be honest. You on the other hand? well- here you are now.” She scribbled a few things down in her notebook.

Into the unknown- what’s next?
  • Aerri, tired of the chat tries to break herself out
  • Keep chatting, find out more
  • convince her you’re not a threat
  • the scientist shows her their “new project”

Aerri leaned against the back of the cage. “Sooo what’s the plan now then? going to keep me locked away in here while you run more tests on me?” She asked the scientist curiously. The dragoness shook her head and walked to the side a little as she pulled out something that looked like a walkie talkie, though it just had a single button on it instead. “Oh no, we’ve learned everything we need to from the two of you this time, I believe our latest project is ready for testing.” She pressed the button and the front of the building rumbled then began to open its giant doors. Sunlight began to creak through the gaps, shining brighter as more light passed through the growing opening of the doorway.

Aerri squinted for a moment as the rays of light hit her eyes, but she quickly adjusted. As the doors parted she saw out into the military base, it looked mostly like an airport with its large and long stretch of flat ground just beyond the building. “Am I free to go then..?” She asked hopeful, but the scientist just laughed. “oh of course not. We’re done testing on you, but that doesn’t mean we can’t use you to test our latest project. With these new cases of Macro appearing we were not prepared to say the least. we’ve adapted, and so far it has worked out yet we know sometimes our methods will not be sufficient. So, why not make our own Macro?” She said with a smile, proud of her own work it seemed. As she spoke, a large cage was wheeled up with a truck, unhooked and laid out in front of Aerri’s Cage. This one was much smaller, Aerri could nearly smush the whole cage under a paw. Despite the unimpressive size compared to her, it was what was in the cage that mattered.

The scientist had meanwhile taken a quick elevator lift down. She walked up to the cage and tapped on its bars. A large 9 foot tall sabertooth- looking beast lay inside, a strange collared device around his neck. “This little creature of ours has been outfitted with some growth abilities, including the power to absorb from other Macro. Thanks to the two of you, he is now ready for field testing. With him, macro threats should be quite easy to.. stomp out.” she smirked a little with a short laugh at her own joke.

Aerri didn’t like what she just heard. A creature built to absorb size? She wasn’t even sure if they’d be able to handle something like that. Though she really didn’t want to stick around and let them find out.
Aerri huffed and sat up, moving onto her knees and placing her hands on the front of the cage. “As nice as the talk has been, I think it’s best I be on my way now..!” She pushed and the Cage began to creak, then burst open, unable to hold her immense strength. The cage door fell forward, smashing down on the sabertooth’s cage and loudly crashing on the ground. The scientist quickly ducked behind the smaller cage for safety while Aerri pulled herself out of the big cage, bending down as the roof of the building wasn’t quite a hundred feet tall like she was- then stepped out of the building, finally standing upright again. The scientist coughed then growled and brushed some dust off herself. “Get her..!” She ordered the beast, pressing a button on another remote. Fang jumped to action. His own cage had been broken enough from the falling metal that he was easily able to squeeze out.

(one of the routes with a non-canon secondary character found!)

What happens next?
  • Get out of here quick!
  • Attempt to Trap the Beast
  • Fang absorbs from the giant kitsune
  • Grow more and destroy some of the base as revenge
  • Face the little sabertooth head on.

Aerri was quite annoyed with these pesky people, kidnapping her like that, how rude! then trying to send a beast at her to absorb her size.. Even worse! the Kitsune was a mere 100 feet tall, and she figured she’d need to be even bigger to do some real damage to the base here. So the kitsune fluffed up her tails, her green claws glowed, and she grew. 100 feet became 200, then 300, then 400, finally stopping at 500 feet tall. Her paws now so large that a two story home could be smushed under a single toe. She towered over the hanger she was just in, a simple step backward and the roof caved in under her paw and collapsed the building. The scientist and many others had already worked on evacuating, so the only one caught in the smashed building was Fang. The gigantic Kitsune then playfully kicked at a tower, watching it collapse to the ground next to her. She chuckled and stepped forward, the ground quaked under her weight. She was then feeling some slight tingles at her legs, some soldiers bravely shot at the giantess. But Aerri barely felt it. Where she’d been knocked out by some darts before, her increased size simply brushed it off like it was nothing.

The giant kitsune continued on her rampage as Fang pulled himself out from the rubble with a huff and a growl. The beast looked around, dust filling the air. He saw the giant kitsune, crushing tanks and buildings, leaving trails of paws in the dirt wherever she went. He climbed out of the wrecked building and shook himself off, then took after her.

Now what?
  • Aerri continues her rampage, growing even more for the fun of it
  • Fang latches onto Aerri and begins to grow!
  • Aerri notices the tiny Sabertooth and stomps him
  • Aerri finishes her rampage and leaves.
  • Pick up the sabertooth and throw him away from here.
