Howdy! Here’s a bite-size short story featuring a demoness in a rather sizey predicament, alongside a couple of my other OCs. Pretty light and not too raunchy, language aside. Thought I’d drop it in to get my feet wet around here.
Happy reading!
“Throw a fucking punch, jackass!”
With his hands on his hips so as to convey the sheer depth of his annoyance, Rifter turned to shoot the crowd gathered below a nasty look. The fox wasn’t quite sure when it had happened, but he had managed to gain something of a reputation for demon slaying since entering the private sector as a mercenary.
Having nothing in particular against Demonkind, he preferred to think of himself as more of a ‘Demon Involved Conflict Resolution Agent’ than anything quite so implicitly negative as a Demon Slayer. Oh, that was good - he rolled the title around in his mind a few times, ultimately deciding that he would have to run it by Julia later.
She was just there to his right, actively engaged in a shouting match with the crowd. “How about I come down there and ram my fist up your ass, shitlicker!?” The fennec turned and yanked her pants down such that those below could read the bold print on the small of her back: CEP-004.
There came a collective murmuring and, one by one, the onlookers began filing their way out of the construction site. Julia hurled what was left of her sandwich at them; Rifter watching with some amusement as the individual bits separated and fluttered uselessly to the ground. Julia continued her tirade: “Yeah, you don’t like that, do you!? Erdrick pattern, bitch! Fuck off!”
Feeling that she had public relations well in hand, Rifter shoved his hands into his jacket pockets and returned his attention to the order of the evening: Before him stood a flustered-looking demoness of canid description, her limbs jutting through the very same mess of girders and concrete upon which Rifter and Julia were currently perched.
The bits of her pelt that made sense reminded Rifter of expensive chocolate. The bits that didn’t appeared as a window to the star-filled night sky above, so rich as it was with dusty hues of purple and pink. Unable to help himself, Rifter reached out to touch one of these starlit patches only to realize that it felt as fluffy as any other part of her body might’ve.
“So you’re totally not going to punch me, right? Because it’s like, so not my fault that I surfaced here. This isn’t my scene; I’m more of a post-gentrification girl. Not mid-gentrification, no-no.” She shook her head emphatically, setting the tortured structure around her to swaying left and right in turn.
Julia had been in the middle of pulling her pants back up just then, so Rifter kindly reached out and pulled her back onto the flats of her feet just as she was beginning a screeching five-story tumble. So removed from mortal peril, the fennec clasped her belt buckle and spun to face the trapped demoness without missing a beat:
“Nah. He’ll hit you as hard as you want once we’re out of here, though.”
Rifter simply nodded in agreement before swinging himself down to the level below. Julia chortled under her breath once he was out of earshot: “He thinks I’m talking about sparring. Yeah though, no, you’re good. What’s your name, sweetie?” The demoness wore a look of vague wonderment as she watched the little vixen take a seat before her.
“I’m, uh. I’m Melyndra. My friends call me Melon.”
Julia turned her attention downward. “Ah, right, because the boobs.” The entire structure of the would-be building shifted again, sending Melon’s melons swaying gently to the right. When they settled there came a sound like an entire warehouse of waterbeds being flung against a wall all at once.
Julia’s ears shot up and she felt her entire brow lift. “Wow. Wish mine worked like that. Milky bitch.” Melon felt herself blushing and turned away to try and hide it just before a sickening metallic crunch from below startled the bashfulness out of her. Inch by inch and then foot by foot, the entire structure of the building was rising past Melon’s trapped frame.
She watched as Julia squealed in terror, clinging to the girder she’d been perched upon for dear life. She then turned her attention down below where Rifter had his arms wrapped around one of the supports at the base, somehow bearing the weight of the entire building even as he levitated skyward - something which came as a shock in and of itself.
As a consequence of the structure’s gradual ascent, Melon’s left tit popped free from the floor it had been stuck on to come crashing down upon the next with positively horrendous force.
I-Beams and concrete flew in every direction. Julia was sent spiraling skyward. Rifter could be heard screaming in what sounded like abject horror. For her part, Melon was left to watch in wide-eyed helplessness as plumes of dust exploded upward all around her. Sirens soon began blaring and at some point, something somewhere exploded.
Julia landed upon the bridge of Melon’s nose and laid there in a crumpled heap for several seconds before pressing herself up onto her palms and staring across at the demoness with wide, panic-stricken eyes.
“So hey, Melon. How fast can you run?”
