I’m not sure how you can do it within this software, but it’d be nice if there could be some sort of highlight or maybe separate category for emphasizing things a user here made personally over threads that are posting commissions or sharing work they saw.
Something to encourage people to make stuff and share it here, & help them get feedback on it from other creatives who’re here.
If you mean seeing posts you made, we have the “My Posts” page both in the sidebar and as a tab on each category (in case you wanna see your own posts only from that category). https://community.sizestation.com/posted
If you’re talking about a collection of posts where someone else posted art an artist made and wanting to see all those, you can type a user’s name into the search bar, for example “Sini”, and it will come up with all posts by that user as well as posts where that user was mentioned. If I’m reading this correctly, I think @fwankie is asking for some kind of distinction or emphasis to be placed on threads that feature works that were produced specifically by the thread author. So instead of mixing together works one may have commissioned vs. made themselves, a degree of separation can be made available for filtering purposes. It’s less about being able to search for all work by Sini/another specific artist, and more finding showcases of anyone going “Look, I made this.”

Ah, I see. I think the best way to solve this “forum-style” is establishing a common tag and asking people to use it. Something like “portfolio”, to indicate it belongs to one’s own set of works. I can also create two tags, and mandate people select either “portfolio” or “commissioned” in categories like Art, Comics, etc. so that people need to always consciously choose one or the other, ensuring it’s adopted.
I think that approach makes sense. If the two tags were generalized to describe “I made this” and “Someone else made this”, that would also account for art that people are sharing but didn’t commission themselves (without having to make a third tag for that situation).
Choosing either created_by_me or created_by_others is now mandatory in most content categories. :3
