Hi, I’m Hydra! I love making mods for the video games I enjoy playing. I’ve made mods for games like Dead by Daylight, Kingdom Hearts, Rivals of Aether II, Left 4 Dead 2, and most recently Dead as Disco. The mods I usually make are model replacements so that means I usually put myself in the game and put others in for commissions! There’s something really exciting about getting to play a game as myself or another friend so I was wondering if anyone here also enjoys modding video games whether it be making or playing?
I totally forgot dead as disco came out! I gotta give it a try whenever.
I dabble in mod making every now and then, im even lead animator in a very old HL1 mod called Mastersword: Rebirth. Though progress has slowed a bit lately.
I know how to modify items just fine, but ask me to make something and rig it from scratch.. forget it..
I’m also doing a mod of Might and Magic 8, built off the MAW and MMMERGE/Multiplayer mods. I’ve not made it public yet though its still very much in the early stages.
Tis fun to make things and self insert yourself sometimes.
i haven’t done much in terms of making mods, usually it’s just to mess with the mechanics. using mods, however, is something i enjoy very much, and it’s rare that a game i play regularly does not end up with at least 2 or 3 mods.
I’ve never made a mod, but I’m an avid user of them
Likewise have never made any mods, I don’t fashion myself as much of a programmer. I just know enough scripting to automate powershell a little, is all ;w;
But I do love using mods for certain games, especially games that I replay all the time like Stellaris or Project Zomboid. I definitely can appreciate some model swaps in Dead as Disco, its such a stylish game!
Ooooh! I I love furry mods on PZ’ :D
I really want to learn how to mod even if it’s just for the simple fact of adding myself, my characters and friends’ into games like what you’ve demonstrated!! At the very least I wanna learn how to make easily utilizable assets for modding into games if all the coding and modding never clicks with my head space. :2c
Ahhhh I love mods so much! If I had an unlimited budget I’d be commissioning you constantly, Hydra - I love putting my sona in other games. I have a version of myself that I use in Valheim, which will hopefully still work when the 1.0 update launches ![]()
i tend to not mod anything until AFTER i finsh games, if ever. Minecraft i have done limited modding with, but i have done pokemon with randomizers and room randomizers which were neat. Its fun to change things up every once in a while.
Once i complete GTFO i will also probably enjoy some of its modded content after. I have some mods RN but it’s just like ping everything or bot improvements, not changing the game itself or new content yet.
