I think it appears if the page is over a certain length, but sometimes the one at the top right is off the screen and the one at the bottom isn’t there. Is there a way to make it always be at the bottom? It’s a little annoying to have part of the UI be inconsistent like that.
Have you found this on pc or phone or both?
PC, on firefox, I have the site full screen at 1080

I just enabled an experimental upcoming change by Discourse to unify the Dismiss location. Does it work better for you now?
No different that I can see, no.
It’s not a major issue or anything it’s just annoying to sometimes have the useful button and sometimes having to look for it and then scroll up
What if you continue to scroll further? Maybe it’s hidden at the bottom because the contents are shorter but the sidebar on the right is still going.
Nope, I can go the whole way down and it doesn’t show. When it does appear it’s always below the last post it’s showing.

I think I see why it does that yeah… Probably just to make it easier on you so you dont have to scroll up… if the page is “small enough” it might just not give you that option cause it expects you to be able to click on the top one… hmmm
The behavior should be mostly fixed with the new Horizon theme we are testing. If you could give it a check and see if it addresses your problem, let us know!
Though it still shouldn’t show the button at the bottom if there are too little posts
