An ancient island that was once home to a civilisation that appeared to worship the kaiju’s judging by their ruined structures and the ‘Grand Portal’ that was built into a mountain on the island, but their civilization has been long extinct, the present day island is mostly dominated by thick tropical jungle and a mile’s wide main path through the centre of the island infront of the portal named the ‘Kaiju Run’ a large dirt path littered with kaiju footprints old and new, the inhabitants have been forced to move up into the tall jungle trees to stay safe from most of the Kaiju’s which appear from the portal or dropping from rifts in the sky.
The tree villages are one of the only sources of safety left on the island as the ancient trees are hundreds of feet tall, with the majority of kaiju’s coming through being 50ft to 600ft, although there have been a few cases of much much larger ones coming through, but those are far rarer, the Kaiju all seem to be slightly aggressive to the population as they will chase anyone on the ground or attempt to climb the giant trees, communication is impossible as their ancient language has been lost to time.
And for some of the lizards living in the trees, some have unfortunately ended up in the kaiju realm when it forcefully takes back in the kaiju’s it summons-
The Kaiju Realm itself is a dark plane, fields of purple and black grass with a permanently dark sky, the ruins of several cities and places the kaiju’s have rampaged through litter the realm as they get copied into the dark plane when a kaiju from the realm destroys a place, some forests manage to survive but they are often walked through, with some areas having taller trees similar to Muratos Island’s ancient ones allowing some stuck in the realm to survive off of the ruined land and attempt to damage or kill the kaiju’s, a feat only a few have managed to do.
Many Kaiju’s have been observed at several sizes in the realm and several species yet most resemble serpents, the size chart listing them as:

Some are way too large to be observed, the realm managed to hold them all though as the current explored area has been mapped to be a toeprint of the ‘System Stomper’ scaled kaiju, sometimes entire planets end up dragged into the realm by the much larger ones dooming entire worlds.
Some other artifacts have been found inside of the realm, a so-called ‘Kaiju Crystal’ which can empower those from the realm it is pointed at or combined to produce a breach, a simple coin that when flipped it can either cause the chosen kaiju to increase 2x in size, or decrease them by 2x, and a rarer canister of liquid that when ingested it can cause the drinker to transform into a kaiju scale version of themselves, most likely to become the lowest size tier of kaiju with only two cases of someone ending up at the ‘Crater Maker’ scale, despite the transformation they still keep their mind intact but still cannot understand the ancient kaiju language.
